National Day of Prayer Service Review

Last night 5 local churches gathered for the National Day of  Prayer.  Worship was lead by a new multi-church band, Shift

It was amazing.  Each of the pastors lead the congregation of about 160 in prayer for various things, our nation, our national leaders, our national economy, our soldiers and their families, our local government, our churches, our island, our families.  Each was eloquent, speaking with conviction and passion.

Worship, woven throughout the prayer time, was fantastic.  God brought together some great worship leaders from our community and the result was spirit filled, engaging, leading worship that cut to the core of every person in that sancutary.  You could feel the Holy Spirit just moving over the entire place as we worshiped in unity with Christians from around the area;  Rev 5:9-10:

           And they sang a new song, saying:
           “ You are worthy to take the scroll,
           And to open its seals;
           For You were slain,
           And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
           Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
           And have made us kings and priests to our God;
           And we shall reign on the earth.” (NKJ)

I’m sure this is just the beginning.  There is something HUGE going on here, and I am so excited to be a part of it!
