On Domestication

Mary got a baking set for Christmas, and is making ‘cookies’ with a flour/water mixture (cupcakes are next!).  Yeah, it’s messy, but she’s having fun and keeping focused…very important skills to have!

Wow! Who needs Girl Scouts cookies when we have Mary’s cookies. Can we come have one with you with a nice cold glass of milk? If we leave now….we can be there by dinner time…but we will skip dinner and just have the cookies!! Debbie

Sure Debbie!!! Come on over!!! cookies might be a little dry but who cares when they are made with love!!

i’m in for the cookies too….. baking is a great thing for her age. you could have her trained to cook dinner in a matter of months….look at it this way….it may be messy now but soon when you are sitting on the couch watching your favorite show and the smells of some delicious meal comes from the kitchen you know it was worth it!!!great bonding for mom’s and kids too

No, you’re not a bad mom!! When I hear that, and see how your kids are now, it makes me wonder if maybe I should re-think this whole kitchen thing!!
