I’m Sorry

I agreed to join a group of bloggers in being accountable for setting and reaching creative goals for 2009.  I was very excited about this, since I have some writing ideas bouncing around in my head that I have as of yet not been able to get into words.  I’ve failed.

Maybe I’m not ready for this.  Maybe this isn’t my time.

Well, I don’t know about the exact goals and all but hey! This is only the second month of the year! You still have a good long way to go, dont give up right now yeah? 🙂

Yeah, my commitment was a song per week stating Jan. 1. It’s now 6 full weeks into the year. I have 3 songs. that’s a 50% failure rate…not so good.

But hey, what if you tweaked your commitment to writing a short “blurb” per week on your blog.

Doesn’t have to be developed. Doesn’t have to be polished. Just get it out of your head!

We believe in you! And we also want you to continue to succeed, struggle, and fail alongside us! It’s the community that’s more important not necessarily the paragraphs typed.

Thanks everyone for all the encouragement! I’m going to continue to pursue this. I’ll spend some time evaluating what I can do and revise my strategy….I really want to do this!
